I've chatted about this before… but it's been awhile.. do you have one of those little "catch all" containers on your crafting desk where you put extra left-over pieces to be used later?
Well, I do, and I created both of these cards using up pieces from my left-overs bin!
The fun dots on the card on the left are stamped in Calypso Coral with my Dotty Angles stamp set.. one of my faves!
The card on the right features the Lovely Lace embossing folder for its background.
I guess you could call it a "use it later" bin, if left-overs is too weird. :)
I love this color combo.. I used it a lot… Calypso Coral, Whisper White and Basic Black. STUNNING!
I created several fun cards all with the same color scheme simply by using up little pieces in my "use it later" bin, like doilies, die cut butterflies, embossed pieces, and punched or stamped pieces, and just layering them onto folded Whisper White cards!! :) Easy Peasy!
My bin is filling up again.. I should probably go through it and make some more left-overs cards!

Patty,
I love your bin! I keep things for later use, but they always disappear. As of today, I am going to start a real “bin”!
Thanks for the idea!
Great idea to have a leftovers bin! Looks like you could make dozens more from what’s still in there. I really like the color combo of black with Cal Cor. Will have to try that. I also really like the technique used with the Dotty Angles set. Created a nice clean open space for the sentiment, while creating a fun background too. TFS!
