Shimmery Gold accents are REALLY hard to photograph… but, trust me, this Flamingo card has its share of fun shiny Gold accents all over it!! The Pop of Paradise stamp set flamingo is the focal point of this Stampin' UP! card, but the gold accents make it pop!
Cindee Designed this card for us to make at one of our stamping days at her house, and I added the die cut flowers to the card as my creative contribution! We decided to play up the fun gold polkadots and add gold Metallic Enamel Shape dots to the flower centers, and a gold enamel shape heart to the "hello" greeting.
After die cutting the little flowers with Watermelon Wonder and Flirty Flamingo cardstock and the Cutie Pie thinlits die and the Bloomin Heart Thinlit die, we sponged them with Watermelon Wonder ink and they really pop off the card!
Oh, and then I had another creative idea for this card… I die cut a strip of the scallops from the Popcorn Box thinlits, and cut it apart, then pieced it onto the back of the black and white striped Pop of Pink paper. That really gave a fun colorful accent to this playful card!
If you haven't seen the Metallic Enamel Shapes in the catalog yet, find them on pg 177 with the other enamel shapes. All of these products may be purchased in my online store by clicking any of the product photos at the bottom of this blog post.
The Metallic Foil Gold doily is a great accent around the punched out hello greeting!
The tropical leaves on the Crumb Cake card can either be stamped with your Versamark ink pad or the Crumb Cake ink pad for a watermark look.

Good morning Patty, I absolutely love you and Cindee’s card. I ordered the enamel shapes. They should be here tomorrow night. I’m soooo anxious for this order. I have been making sympathy cards the last couple of days. Sad to say I have been useing them a good bit lately and had to replenish them. I’m making them from the Botanical Builders framelets. They make such gorgeous cards. Got to get ready for church. Have a great day
