We just bought some Halloween Candy at Sam's Club… do you do this too? Pick out the kind that you will eat "just in case" we don't have a lot of trick or treaters?? Well, we did.. LOL :)
Today I have some more ideas for you to package up those fun Halloween candy treats for someone special, and today's post features the skinny 2" x 8" cello treat bags from Stampin' Up!.
This is part 3 in a 3 part series.. I hope you've enjoyed the ideas for fancying up your Halloween treats!
After filling the bags with candy, I die cut a different topper for each one and tied it onto the bag.
You'll find the supplies for these bags here:
- 2" x 8" cello bags, pg 176 annual catalog #141703
- Halloween Night paper, pg 51 Holiday catalog, #142022
- Halloween Night baker's twine, pg 51 Holiday catalog, #142027
- Halloween Night Washi tape, pg 51 Holiday catalog, #142026
- Jar of Haunts stamp set, pg 55 Holiday catalog, #142247
- Cheerful Tags Framlits, pg 39 Holiday catalog, #141838
- Merry Tags framliets, pg 21 Holiday catalog, #141835
For the tag on the bag on the left, I die cut a tag using the Merry Tags framelits and the Halloween Night designer paper. I punched a 2" circle in Pumpkin Pie to put behind it, and a 1-1/4" circle for the Happy Halloween stamped sentiment.
After creating the tag, I tied it to the bag with the Halloween Night baker's twine. Simple, and cute, but with a little wow factor, don't you think?
Above and Below: for the other tag in today's project, I die cut a piece of Halloween Night paper with the Cheerful Tags framliet and then decorated it with a stamped pumpkin and some Halloween Night washi tape.
The pumpkin is stamped in Archival Black ink onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock, and cut out with Paper Snips. I love the pumpkin in the Jar of Haunts stamp set because you can stamp it with or without the face.. so you can either create fall pumpkins, or jack-o-lanterns!
I love this fun 2" x 8" size cello.. just lends itself to some fun treats and doesn't cost a fortune to fill the bag!

Patty's FREE VIDEO tutorials
Good morning Patty, They are all soooo cute…. I LOVE the cheeful die tag and it’s on my order, just haven’t purchased it yet. I like to bake for other people and I thought this tag die is perfect. As for Halloween, we don’t get anyone where we live. We live to far in the country , but I always make up some goodies for my youngest grandkids. I think I’m going to use the Baker Box Die this year. And yes I buy candy . The one’s you made up, I don’t buy. Not crazy about candy corn or the other. Mine has to be CHOCOLATE, LOL…..Have a great day.
