Jar of Haunts Halloween 4×4 cards, part 1

When I saw the Stampin' UP! Holiday catalog, I knew in an instant that one of my favorite sets would be the SUPER CUTE Jar of Haunts stamp set, and it coordinates with the Everyday Jars framelits, so no need to cut them out by hand!

You'll find this adorable Jar of Haunts stamp set on page 55 of the 2016 Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog (item #142247).  You can see from this post I've used the floating eyeballs and the mummy images from this set.  I have another post for you in a couple days with more fun cards I created from this set!!

Floating Eyeballs… ok.. seriously.. this Stampin' Up! artwork is too cute.. it just makes me smile!  I stamped the floating eyeballs at an angle inside the jar so that it looks like it's pouring out, then stamped extra eyeballs to give the illusion of pouring eyeballs from one jar to another.. I mean.. TOO FUNNY, right!? :)

The mummies (and actually all of these images) were stamped with the Stampin' Up! Archival Black ink pad.  I colored the mummies with an AquaPainter and the Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate ink refills.

Each of my fun Halloween cards are mounted to a 4×4 piece of Halloween Night specialty spiderweb paper, and then mounted onto a 4-1/4" square folded card.

For accents I used other pieces from the Halloween Night paper pack, and also In Color doilies.  The greetings are from the Jar of Haunts and Spooky Fun stamp sets.

After stamping the jars and eyeballs with Archival Black ink, and letting it dry, I watercolored the liquid with an AquaPainter and Cucumber Crush ink.  The extra eyeballs were punched out with a 1/2" punch for ease.

  1. Darling Halloween cards, Patty. I especially love the “pouring eyeballs” card. Had something similar in mind to make for some of my cards this year. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing.
