Climbing Roses Stampin’ UP! Note Cards

Climbing Roses Note Card idea! Sponge Grapefruit Grove ink onto roses then add Wink of Stella for sparkle! Gingham Gala paper and Grapefruit Grove ribbon - all supplies from Stampin' UP!. By Patty Bennett, www.PattyStamps.com

I was so excited to use this beautiful Climbing Roses Bundle from Stampin’ Up! on my customer Thank You Cards last week!  I needed to make lots of cards, so I didn’t have time to color with lots of detail, (even though I wanted to!), so I grabbed a sponge dauber and added color to each flower, then dabbed on Wink of Stella!

3 different designs using the same products:

  • Whisper White Note Cards #131527
  • Gingham Gala Grapefruit Grove paper (3×3) #148554
  • Grapefruit Grove cardstock (3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″) #146972
  • Die cut Climbing Roses stamped image #148658
  • Grapefruit Grove Sale-a-Bration ribbon #149623
  • Hello Beautiful stamp from Butterfly Gala set #148580
  • Find all the rest of the supplies in my online store.. they are all linked at the bottom of this post

  1. Thought I’d try to leave a message here and it looks like it worked.

What a gorgeous set of cards. The gingham is so pretty and so is the orange.

  2. I think the color Grapefruit Grove doesn’t do the flower justice. It is just not a rose color, or rare if you see them without a blend of other colors with it. The card layout is nice and the sentiment is good in black lettering. I think using a sponge is a great idea and also faster if making several cards.
