I was so excited to play with all the designs in my Bird Ballad Designer Paper Package, and decided to try to use almost every pattern while making these cards!!
Tips for this Easy Card Design!
- Just create a regular A2 size folded card, then take 7/8″ off the front flap.
- Cut your Bird Ballad Designer Paper to 3″ x 5-1/4″ and place it on the front flap, then add a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White piece inside.
- The circle I used is a 2-1/4″ circle punch, layered onto a Scalloped circle from the Layering Circle dies.
- Guess What… the colored strips with the “hello” stamped on them, are just the 7/8″ pieces cut from the front flap of the cardbase!!
I loved this simple but stunning design. I used the basic layout of a card by sleepyowlco on Instagram, but switched up the colors and designer paper. Hope you like them!
Each card has a very simple Hello stamped on it in Memento Black ink (from the Good Morning Magnolia set) and is finished off with either Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots, or, Metallic Pearls.
Each card features a 2-1/4″ circle punch layered onto a scalloped circle. All the supplies are listed at the bottom of this blog post.
Here are all the Stampin’ Up! cardstock colors I used on my cards today! Some might say, “they are Patty Colors” 🙂
I mailed all of these customer thank you cards out .. I hope my customers felt loved and that they enjoyed the card idea!

I.e been playing with my bird ballad set that came on Thursday and am going to have to order more designer paper! I really like all the options and just wish I could “color” better and was more knowledgable about shading with the blenders. Guess I will just have to practice.
