Oh I had so much fun creating this 12×12 Pleased as Punch Spring Sampler at a class last weekend!! This beautiful framed home decor piece features the limited time Pleased as Punch designer paper pack and a few other Stampin’ UP! supplies. Looking for the Pleased as Punch DSP in the catalog? You won’t find it there. It’s a new limited-time offering from Stampin’ UP! available only while supplies last HERE.
Leticia and Christy were our hosts for this class and made it so easy for us to be successful in creating our 12×12 samplers! They prepped lots of the die cutting and punched pieces ahead of time, and we punched, stamped and colored and assembled our projects.
You can create this sampler with the Pleased as Punch paper, Purple Posy cardstock, the Under my Umbrella stamp set, an alphabet set like this Lined Alphabet, and these Stampin’ UP! punches:
- Umbrella Builder punch #151293 (also available with the stamp set in the 10% off bundle #153786)
- Tulip Builder punch #151295 (also available with the stamp set in the 10% off bundle #153793)
- Small Bloom Punch #152316 – Sale-a-Bration item, free with your $100 order (not for sale)
- Heart Punch Pack #151292
All of the other supplies and the supplies listed above are available in my online store here, or click the product photos at the bottom of this blog post.
Happy Spring is stamped with Memento Black ink onto the Pleased as Punch paper using the Lined Alphabet set. The letters are colored in with Stampin’ Blends markers.
The Umbrellas, small flowers, tulips, tulip leaves and hearts are all punched with the Stampin’ UP! punches listed above and preprinted imaged in the Pleased as Punch paper.
The rain boots and all the tiny flowers are stamped, colored and fussy cut with Paper Snips.
Rhinestones from the Noble Peacock and Holiday Rhinestone pack are placed in the center of each punched Small Bloom flower.
I loved how clever this design feature was.. Lettie die cut the Sending Flowers Dies 4 times for each of us and we used that for the flower stems portion. She also die cut the Special Days dies grass image for us to place along the bottom of the samplers. We tucked stamped stems for the tulips into the grass. Before adding the grass, we slightly curled the grass with our bone folder and sponged with Old Olive ink.
Above: the small flowers from the Under my Umbrella set are stamped in Memento Black ink onto Thick Whisper White cardstock, and colored with Stampin’ Blends.
Below: the Small Blooms punch is a quick way to punch flowers out of the Pleased as Punch designer paper!
Hope you enjoyed this amazing sampler! It’s all framed in a shadowbox 12×12 frame to allow for all the wonderful dimension in this artwork!

I love, love, love, this framed art. Very creative ladies.
A great framed art which made me smile.
Do you know where they (or you) got the frame?
I am not sure where they bought the frames (it was included in the class fee) but in the past I’ve purchased 12×12 shadow box frames like this at Michaels and JoAnn Fabrics.
