You are going to love this AMAZING combination of the Stitched Lace die and the In Good Taste designer paper!!! WOW!!!
I’ve used 2 patterns from the In Good Taste designer paper on this card. One that looks like a burlap/textile print in the background, and one that looks like soft linen for the lace piece. It’s die cut with the Stitched Lace Die! All of these card making supplies are available in my online Stampin’ UP! store – just click the product photos at the bottom of this post for your shopping convenience!
Tip!
This card is accented with the In Good Taste wood elements #152476. The wooden leaves are colored first with a sponge dauber and Early Espresso Stampin’ Up! ink. I found it much easier to color them while they are still in the sheet with the other wood elements, but you can of course color them later, too. Let them dry thoroughly before adding to your card or project. My recommendation is glue dots or liquid glue for adhering them.

This super clever idea for die cutting the In Good Taste designer paper with the Stitched Lace die was the brainstorm of Christy & Leticia, from their “In Good Taste Class”. I designed my card a little differently from theirs, and I love the results!!
Finishing Touches:
- Wonderful Gems (the gold ones in the pack) were added to the die cut label
- 1/4″ Faux Suede Ribbon #152472 was wrapped twice around the card and tied in a knot
- A little bit of background stamping was done on the die cut tag using Soft Suede ink and the “lacey” stamp image in the Tasteful Touches set, then sponge the edges of the Very Vanilla Die cut

I have had so much trouble gettin clean cuts in this die. It’s beautiful if you can get it to cut. I tried Wax paper and dryer sheets. Do you have tips for a clean cut? Wht did I miss?
I had several tips for intricate dies in my recent video.. flipping it upside down, tilting it at a slight angle, and running it back and forth if needed. I hope this video will help: https://youtu.be/H41APib-Mog
