I saw a post on Facebook yesterday asking for all of us to share something yellow.. something cheerful and happy, and it reminded me to share this cheerful Celebrate Sunflowers card featuring the fun technique called Direct to Rubber! I hope you enjoy it.. I hope it makes you smile today!
Yes, it’s another side fold card like the Snowflake Splendor cards I shared last month.. I love this fold! So easy!!! Just score your card in 1/2 and then score again 1″ away from the center score, seal that 1″ section shut and you have such a fun and easy unique fold!!
Check out the Difference!
Look at the difference between stamping just the sunflower in 1 color of ink, vs. adding the other colors with the sponge dauber and blending with the blender pen!!

Hi There,
On the fun fold card, what are the dimensions for the basic card? Love the look!
Thanks,
Cathy
Glad you liked it.. it’s the same as the snowflake side fold linked in the post: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored in 1/2.
Great video! I have not seen this technique before & looking forward to trying it out. Thanks for sharing. Love these cards!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Great technique! I’ve been experimenting with this and my hand tends to get too heavy. I’ll try again!
I did it on tissue paper and melted it into a candle and that turned out great!
