Do you remember these pieces of designer paper (below) that I shared last week – I used Blending Brushes to QUICKLY color in the black and white paper? Well, I decided to cut them up and make a set of True Love Note Cards with the colored designer paper. I love them. They feel a little dramatic to me… kind of like a tapestry or needlework.. but I love them!
Above & Below: colored True Love designer paper with Blending Brushes. More info and link to video in this post. It’s so fast and easy to swirl ink onto the designer paper to quickly color the flowers! I did color the leaves with a Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends marker on the design below.
The Stampin’ Up! color combo fro my Art Gallery flowers and leaves was Rococo Rose, Merry Merlot and Mint Macaron. I did stamp the flowers on the Rococo Rose Oh So Ombre paper (see this post). The leaf image is stamped onto the Stitched so Sweetly die cut, and I stamped the birthday sentiment (from Delicate Petals set) using Merry Merlot ink.
The rosy polkadot patterned paper is from the Oh So Ombre Sale-a-Bration pack (your free gift choice with a $50 online order). I used Basic White Note Cards for the card bases.
The final touch on each True Love Note Card is 3 Just Jade Enamel Dots from the In Color package.
