I am very excited about this gorgeous tri fold card today, featuring the Abigail Rose suite in the new Stampin’ UP! catalog!! It’s really worth of a quick video, so I’ve got a quick video for you at the bottom of this post!!
See the Abigail Rose suite online or on pages 56-57 in the new Annual catalog.

Below: inside of trifold card
Below: card fully open to reveal Scalloped Contour die, which actually perfectly frames the 2 side panel pieces when the card is closed!
Watch the video!
Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for a quick video to show you exactly how to put all the pieces together for this tri fold card!
Above & Below: when die cutting the delicate detailed flowers in this Cottage Rose bundle, you’ll want to add Adhesive Sheets to the back of the cardstock first, and then to get green stems and colored flowers, I like to color them with my Stampin’ Blends.
Die Cutting Tip:
The flower from the Cottage Rose set shown below does not have an individual die, but you can use the die shown below to cut out that image.
Masking Paper Tip:
I was trying to figure out the best way to color the flower with Blending Brushes (you know, the ink kind of spreads beyond the image), and not get the ink on the leaves. So, I stamped the image onto Masking Paper, cut out the leaf portion and COVERED the leaves (see photo on LEFT below). I used the Blending Brush and ink to color the flower, pulled away the masking paper and colored the leaves with Stampin’ Blends (see photo on RIGHT below).
After layering all the gorgeous flowers and leaves together, I finished my card with the new Petal Pink polyester ribbon, and the Petal Pink Solid Faceted Gems.

So happy you enjoyed it, Lisa!!
Good afternoon Patty
What would the measurements be if you were making a larger card 10″ x 7″ scored at 5″? Would this even be possible? Please let me know And also I would be afraid it would not fit in the larger envelopes.
Thank you
Sheila Livingston
I’m not sure Sheila.. I have only made it in this standard size. Let me know if you try it!
Just received this suite so I can’t wait to try your beautiful card

Hi sweetie! This card is breathtaking!!!! Can’t say enough about it, just beautiful !!❤️❤️
Love this trifold card, first time for me to see this fold. You did a beautiful job making this card pop!!!! Watched the video and still would like more ideas using the masking paper.
Absolutely love this clever design! I noticed that you omitted the white cardstock as well as the size for the scalloped piece {for those of us without the Scalloped Contour die set. I’m guessing 3×4 1/4, but I’m not great at estimating layering sizes. Can you verify or correct it? Thank you so much for this wonderful card!
Hi Eleanor, feel free to layer whatever size works best for you. I’d go with about 1/4″ larger than the Calypso Coral layer. Here is the link to to purchase the White cardstock in my online store: https://www.stampinup.com/products/basic-white-8-1-2-x-11-cardstock?demoid=2274
Thank you for this tutorial. It is time for me to start doing some fancy flowers and fun cards. I have watched this tutorial several times and I am continuing to learn.
Peace be with you.
