Mint Chip ice cream cone featuring Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake bundle. Card by Patty Bennett

Among other flavors, we created Mint Chip Ice Cream and Shamrock Shakes for St. Patrick’s day yesterday on our weekly live!!  I hope you enjoyed seeing lots of fun ways to use the Share a Milkshake bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Didn’t catch the live?

No worries.. the replay is posted below!

I really don’t know why I had to try so many shades of green before settling on Mint Macaron for my Mint Chip Ice Cream… I do think it looks the best, and maybe Soft Succulent for a close 2nd.  I stamped the Early Espresso dots for the “chips” but you could use a marker or whatever dot stamp you have.

Great Embossing Tip!

The Ice Cream Cone die in the Share a Milkshake bundle has terrific texture built right in.. but if you want even more texture, run your die cut cone through the Basics 3D embossing folder with the crosshatch pattern!!  It’s pretty amazing!

Above: my Shamrock Shake (right) and a fun cherry parfait on the left.

Below: I love to start my card making process by die cutting lots of different pieces, then I start creating.  I love the stamped pieces and also the In Color Glimmer paper die cut pieces with the Share a Milkshake bundle!

Above:  I had this piece of Pale Papaya embossed cardstock on my desk and thought it was super cute to pair with this bundle.  It features the Gingham embossing folder.  I also loved the little green polkadot pattern from the Butterfly Kisses paper stack.  Doesn’t this just look like the perfect treat for a summer day?

Below:  I used one of my watercolor backgrounds (from THIS post) and a piece of polkadot embossed Flirty Flamingo Cardstock for the background of this shake card!!  Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo and Pale Papaya are so pretty together!! The embossing folder is from the Basics 3D embossing folder collection, only available online while supplies last.

Share a Milkshake card below: how cute is this when you use In Color Glimmer paper to die cut the ice cream!!?? 🙂  Adorable!!   The background is Petal Pink embossed with the crosshatch pattern from the Basics 3D embossing folder pack.. the same one as the one I used above on the Ice Cream Cones.
