I think your friends and family deserve a really cute birthday card like this!
Have you used the Specialty Soft Shimmer Paper from Stampin’ Up!?
I used it to create cute ice cream scoops for the Ice Cream Swirl Bundle!!

Watch the Baby Wipe Background technique video to see how I did the rainbow background in the card below.
Simply die cut the swirl die and the outline image die with the Bubble Bath and Berry Burst shimmer paper, then alternate the designs for cute contrast!
TIPS:
- use the “backside” of the Delightful Floral paper for a cute background (I used the Perennial Postage die to cut out the DSP)
- use the flat Iridescent Discs for “sprinkles” on the cone and they don’t add any bulk to the card!
For a cute cone wrapper, I stamped the “sprinkles” stamp onto the Berry Burst Delightful Floral paper, then added shading around the edges with the Blending Brush.. I mean.. how cute is that!?
Below:
A white die cut and embossed Celebrate greeting is from the Thoughtful Moments hybrid embossing folder, and instead of a cone, just die cut the top of the cone with the shimmer paper for a cute bowl!!!
