Each time we cruise, we love to bring extra treats for our cabin steward, and additional crew like waiters, concierge, etc. This year I brought decorated envelopes to place cash in for these treats.
I ended up with loads of strips of Splendid Autumn paper from the cards I made during my Oct. 4th weekly live video. I decided to use some of them and some additional strips of paper from the Full of Life pack to decorate Note Card size envelopes (3-1/2″ x 5″). I also tore the two tone (white core) paper in the autumn colors for extra color on some of the cards.
Some years I make full cards, other times I make tags, this year I’m decorating envelopes.
We’ll tuck the cash inside an envelope each day for our stateroom attendant. We also brought lots of snacks to share with our attendant.
Not going on a cruise?
No worries.. why not use this idea for tips at restaurants or hotels!? Keep a few of these handy in your purse, car or suitcase. They are sure to make someone smile!!
