After I created all of THESE trifold cards with the Secret Garden card making kit, I had lots of 1″ strips left over, so I created these Chevron cards! Instead of stamping and die cutting the flowers, I fussy cut these flowers from the designer paper.
The Secret to these Cards:
I used the brand new Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder to emboss the entire front card panel of these cards!! How BEAUTIFUL did that turn out!!?? Oh my gosh.. I’m in love!

I used the cardstock, printed paper and embellishments in the Secret Garden kits to finish off these cards. What beautiful color combos!

I love your cards!! I don’t use yellow enough. Thanks for the inspiration to use yellow again. The flowers & DSP are gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing!
So glad you were inspired!! Enjoy creating!
Patty,
You do such beautiful work. I love the cards you did using the Secret Garden Kit. But how in the world do you figure out the measurements easily? I don’t want to mess up the DSP.
As I mentioned in the post, they are just 1″ strips that were left over from my previous cards. So no fancy measurements.. just 1″ strips.
Gorgeous cards! Using the embossing folder is genius! Thanks for the samples and the great idea.
Wonderful cards! Thank you for sharing it!
So glad you enjoyed them!!
Love the cards. Inspired me to buy the scrapbooking kit. Did you make a video of this project.? Love your work!
No video for this one , but I think I have a bit more of an explanation on this post for the Chevron cards with scrap strips https://pattystamps.com/2024/09/what-i-made-with-the-left-over-splendid-autumn-paper.html
