This card background was an experiment, and it’s quite fancy!! I embossed the Sunflower embossing folder with Two Tone Daffodil Delight cardstock, then I inked it with some Peach Pie and Early Espresso ink, and THEN I used my Versamark pad to apply a little bit of ink to the high spots of the embossed areas and sprinkled gold embossing powder on that. After heating it with the heat tool they were pretty and shiny and gold!!
I felt that the whole gold embossed panel was “a little much” so I die cut the Perennial Postage die and inked the edges and added that on top, THEN I fussy cut some sunflowers from another panel to add on top.
Did I mention it was a very fancy sunflower card? yep.. I added die cut leaves, a linen thread bow and a stamped label. yep… it’s a lot! 🙂
