Many of you know the story of how I was inspired to design the Stampin’ Up! Ribbon of Courage stamp set in 2015 in honor of my mom’s fight with Breast Cancer. Since that set retired, I have been waiting for a new stamp set to use in its place, and now Stampin’ Up! is offering the Love & Courage set as part of the Making a Difference program!

(If you don’t know my Ribbon of Courage story, you can watch the video from 8 years ago HERE)

A sunflower-themed handmade card with "Hope" and script text sits on a wood surface. Beside it are an open Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Pad ink case marked “Cherry Cobbler, Strawberry Slush,” and a gray metal arch die. "Patty Bennett, PattyStamps.com" is watermarked. In designing my set of 6 card ideas with the Love & Courage set for my live crafting video yesterday, I selected Strawberry Slush as my main color and also added some Cherry Cobbler for extra detail and shading.

See 2 Bonus cards from the video at the bottom!

I created 2 extra cards during the live video and have included them at the bottom of this post.

Above & Below: I particularly loved how the Everyday Arches dies just seemed to perfectly frame the image with room for a greeting below the main image.

A hand holds a pink, handmade card with an embossed floral background. The card features a large pink sunflower, uplifting script text, and a thank you message for support during a battle. A metal die-cut arch shape lies on the wooden surface beside the card. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

I loved using the Two Tone Strawberry Slush cardstock with Strawberry Slush and Cherry Cobbler ink on the Sunflower Embossing Folder to use as backgrounds. I felt it coordinated well with the sunflower images in the stamp set.

The video replay is at the bottom of this post. If you missed it live, please watch the replay!

The image promotes Stampin' Up!’s “Love & Courage” cling stamp set, featuring encouraging phrases and a breast cancer ribbon. It highlights a $3 donation to breast cancer support with every purchase and encourages spreading hope, support, and gratitude. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

The word I love best in this set is HOPE. I believe there is always hope, and the prayer for a miracle!

A hand holds a pink floral card with a large sunflower and uplifting words like "Support, strength, heart, faith, resolve, fight, hope, courage, survivor, believe." White "HOPE" letters, a pink bow, and a "Patty Bennett" watermark are visible. Stamp set in background. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

By inking only the words and not the 1/2 flower, I created a “list” on the Just a Note die for the card below.

A hand holds a handmade card with a pink leafy border and a white notepaper design featuring handwritten words such as "Support, strength, heart, faith, resolve, fight, hope, courage, survivor, believe" and a red heart. A metal die is placed nearby. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

I wanted to create cards that could be used any time, so I stamped the flower several times and fussy cut them, and made a friendship card and a birthday card!
