Organizing my New Stampin’ Up! sets

I truly enjoy organizing my crafting supplies.. maybe as much as creating with them!!

When Stampin’ Up! introduced a new packaging system for stamp sets and dies last fall, I wasn’t sure if I would like it, if I would keep my stamps and dies stored in them, where I would put them, how I would organize them, etc.

Now that we’ve been working with the new packaging for a few months, I wanted to update you on what’s working FOR ME! If you have found solutions that work better for you, please continue to use your system.

Organizing and Storing my sets & dies

The new Stampin’ Up! packaging is taller and thinner than the CD/DVD case system, and required something different for me than storing them on my shelves. I found the Sorbus Medium Clear Plastic Bins and the JollyPack Clear Plastic bins to be my favorites.

The last piece of the puzzle for me was dividers. Up until now, I really didn’t have enough sets or dies in the new plastic envelopes to need dividers, but as I organized my craft room last weekend, I decided it was time to create categories and get organized!

I purchased the Henoyso 15 Piece Comic Book Dividers with tabs for my storage bins and love them! I did need to trim about 1″ off the side and bottom (approx.) to allow them to fit in the storage bins. (Measure your bins to decide what size would work for your dividers). I use my Brother P-Touch labeler to label them using categories that work for me. The Niimbot label maker is also a really great INEXPENSIVE labeling solution.

NOTE ADDED 10pm PT 1-28-26: The smaller packs of 15, 30 and 50 dividers seem to be temporarily sold out.. you all loved these!! I hope that company will restock the smaller packs. Larger packs are available with that link – maybe you can split them with friends.

A clear organizer holds labeled dividers for craft supplies, such as "SUMMER," "FLORALS," "MISCELLANEOUS," and "GREETINGS." A text box says, “I found some DIVIDERS I like for my new storage system,” with an Amazon logo and light blue arrow. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

ADDED INFO: per a viewer question, you may want to know.. I have 43 sets/die packages in this JollyPack bin. Be sure to check out the options I have linked above, and the sizes in the description to determine which size works for you. Also watch the video linked above for more sizing info.

Categories so far: Greetings, Valentines, Miscellaneous, Shapes, Spring/Easter, Animals, Florals, Summer and Birthday. As we get in to summer and fall I’ll add those then add Christmas.

As I continue to use and organize my supplies, I’ll keep you updated on any new finds!!

Thank you for visiting me today and I hope some of these tips help you!

  1. Can I purchase just the new stamp packaging to replace the old packaging? I love the new trim style plastic envelopes for the stamps and dies.

  3. Thanks for the great ideas! Could you provide a list of the stamp/die categories you use? It would be helpful for me to break it down into manageable categories.
    Thanks ☺️

  4. Love this! I, too, love to organize my stampin stuff almost as much as I love to stamp – and I love any kind of office supply. It’s always interesting to me to see how people organize and what works best for other people. I tend to organize my stamps based on their release (by catalog or OE month). Not sure why? I guess that’s just how they store in my brain.

  7. Thank you so much! I am having a problem, however, with the ink for the Henoyso 15 piece tabs. Each time I click on it. It goes to 100 piece or 150 piece and I cannot seem to find the one you’re talking about.

    • I am pretty sure that they sold out today… so they will need to restock the smaller quantities.. I guess it was pretty popular.. keep checking back, hopefully they will make it available in smaller packs again.

  9. Hi Patty,
Are those plastic comic dividers heavyweight or they filmsy? I bought some are they were really filmsy. A different brand so I was curious how yours were?

    Thank you,
