Simple Tip for April Product of the Month

If you struggle with getting perfect detailed cuts with any detailed die, you can use this tip!! I turned my Eyelet Blooms die UPSIDE DOWN in my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine (with the paper on top of the die) and all the little “dots” came right out!!

A hand holds an orange paper with a floral eyelet pattern, showing clean cutouts. Below is a similar piece labeled "Avoid This" with incomplete cuts. A metallic die is visible. Text provides a tip for better results and names this as April 2026 Product of the Month. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Do you have the Eyelet Blooms die, April 2026 Stampin’ Up! product of the month yet? It’s so pretty! I made a couple cards for you featuring this die and the Lovely Blossoms designer paper!

Two handmade Mother's Day cards with floral designs are shown. One card is peach with illustrated orange flowers and reads “So happy for you.” The other is blue and white with floral patterns and says “Happy Mother’s Day.” A floral metal die sits below. Tip! don’t forget about die cutting designer paper… isn’t it so pretty as the background of this card? My focal points are pretty colored flowers from the Flowers Fair background stamp. See coloring tips and more info about that stamp here.

A handmade card features peach and blue floral designs with the text "SO HAPPY FOR YOU." An ornate die-cut shape showcases flowers in the center. An arrow points to it with the note, “REMINDER: DIE CUT DSP FOR A FUN EFFECT.” A die-cutting plate rests nearby. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

  1. Great tip! This would be helpful for any die with tiny “pop out” pieces. I wouldn’t have thought to turn the die over, thinking it would damage the die. Thank you for sharing this!

    • It really isn’t any different than cutting side down.. you are just flipping your sandwich over so the paper is on the top side. I’ve shared this tip in previous videos but I need to share it more often!!
