Stampin’ Up! Washi Tape Cards

I had 3+ rolls of Extraordinary Flora washi tape in my stash.. and since I’d already made cards with die cut pieces of the washi tape, I decided to try it out as a “card front”.

My first thought was just put the Extraordinary Flora washi tape right onto the cardstock and add it to the card base.. but after I made these, I thought.. hmm.. what about EMBOSSING the washi tape panel… see below for my experiments with 3 different embossing folders.

Four handmade thank you cards are displayed. I added the Washi Tape to a 3-1/4″ wide strip of Basic White cardstock, then tried embossing that panel. I loved the results!

After I tried out the Eyelet embossing folder, I thought that the Scalloped Wishes bundle would be a beautiful accent for the greeting. Didn’t they turn out so pretty!?

I used my new Rectangle punch for the stamped greeting on these cards. It will be available on 5-5-26.

Lastly: the Lazy Daisy embossing folder version
