I was really excited to win the Flowering Fields stamp set at the Stampin' Up! OnStage event last November in San Diego!! You know me .. if it's flowers, I love it! Cindee and I both won the set and I've had fun creating great little 4×4 notecards with it!

So, did you see my 3 Secret Weapons on this card?
- Wink of Stella Pens (Clear #141897, or Gold #141898)
- Shimmery White cardstock #101910
- Black Archival ink pad #140931
All cards are 4-1/4" square and the Wildflower Fields paper is cut at 1" x 4". The Shimmery White cardstock is cut at 4×4.
And, all 3 greetings are from the same set.. "Suite Sayings" on pg 41 of the Occasions catalog.
As I mention in my video above, be sure you are stamping with the Basic Black Archival ink pad if you are coloring in with the amazing glimmery Wink of Stella pens! 🙂
Noteable Thoughts about the card above: Calypso Coral makes this card POP.. both the cardstock and the Seam Binding ribbon! But, don't you just love the greeting I stamped!? I love this one because there are so many people who make me smile. Find this greeting on pg 41 in the Suite Sayings set in the Occasions catalog.
Noteable thoughts about the card above: Cool it off with beautiful blues.. Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon is a super sweet glimmery addition to this already glimmery card! It's on pg 9 of the 2016 Occasions catalog.
Just a Thought.. I get asked all the time what size envelopes do I use when I make my 4×4 or 4-1/4" square cards.. I just use the regular size Medium Whisper White or Very Vanilla envelopes from Stampin' UP!. You can make a square envelope, but it does cost more to mail a square envelope.. so, I just use the regular medium envelopes.
Noteable thoughts about the card above: Add a little strip of Botanical Gardens printed vellum and a strip of Botanical Gardens Washi tape instead of ribbon on this card. The vellum is a FREE Sale a Bration item, on pg 4 of the Sale a Bration brochure, and the Washi Tape is on pg 27 of the Occasions catalog.
That gorgeous glimmer is achieved with the Wink of Stella pen.. did you see how easy it is to color these images? Watch the video in this post for all the details!

GREAT tips… and THANK YOU because I can see myself squishing the lid to get more ink in the lid and transferring the wink of stella glimmer all over the ink pad. APPRECIATE all your videos, tips and training!
Hi Patty, Thank you for the video. I LOVE your cards.I can’t wait to get my free stuff from your Free Forms. I think it should be here this week sometime. I’m so glad you told us to use the clear block for the reinkers. I wouldn’t have thought of it and my stamp set would have been a mess, lol……. You alwys give us such great tips. Thank you and have a great weekend…… Going to make cards all weekend since we are snowed in…. I LOVE watching the snow and making cards. Makes for a fun weekend. Starting a new order, lol
What a great idea to use Wink of Stella with regular ink. I guess you would clean the Wink of Stella just as you would a blender pen which I love to color with. Can’t wait to try this technique. Your videos are the best.
