On my recent plane flight to Orlando, I spent about 4 hours coloring lots of stamped Christmas images with my Stampin’ Blends markers! I stamped images from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set and the So Santa stamp set and brought along my Stampin’ Blends markers and it helped to pass the time on a long flight! I am sharing 2 Christmas cards today using 2 of the snowman images from the Spirited Snowmen set. You’ll find this cute set on page 38 of your 2018 Holiday Catalog!
I added a 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ piece of printed designer paper from the Festive Farmhouse package (#147820) to my note card, then added the snowman oval die cut and the snowflakes and greeting. All of these supplies are available in my online Stampin’ UP! store. You can also click on any product image at the bottom of this blog post to go right to that item to learn more or purchase.
Design Notes:
- I combined the Spirited Snowman stamp set with the Nothing Sweeter bundle so I could add the die cut snowflakes, greetings, and the cute stitched die cut trees to my cards
- I used the Stitched Shape framelits for the focal images. They are stamped in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.
- All coloring is done with the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. If you need coloring tips, I have 6 training videos HERE on my YouTube playlist.
- Both card bases are the thick Whisper White Note cards, measuring 3-1/2″ x 5″. They come 20 to a pack, already cut, scored and with envelopes!
- The pretty label with the stamped greeting above is from the Stitched Label framelits and is stamped in Pool Party ink.
- The snowflakes are stamped in Pool Party ink and die cut with the Nothing Sweeter bundle.
Above: the Stitched Shape square is layered onto a slightly larger piece of Real Red cardstock then onto a Scalloped Square (from the Layering Squares framelits) die cut in Call me Clover cardstock. The Sweetly Stitched trees are also die cut with Call me Clover cardstock. I added the little 1″ punched greeting with a Stampin’ Dimensional and then added a little bow with a Glue Dot, created with the Garden Green Baker’s Twine (#147814, pg 19 Holiday catalog).
