When I start a project, sometimes I just stamp and die cut lots of pieces.. then see how they flow together on my card.. that’s what I did here! I stamped several Painted Seasons flower and leaf images, die cut them with my Four Seasons framlelits, then just played with the card layout.
I also fussy cut a few flowers out of the Painted Seasons designer paper with my Paper Snips… why not!? 🙂
After I had all my pieces die cut and ready, I played with some 4×4 card designs on Thick Whisper White card bases, with a square layer of Painted Seasons designer paper, a 3-1/4″ square of cardstock and a 3×3 piece of Gingham Gala paper. It’s an easy formula to follow, then simply embellish with your die cut pieces.
Each card also features some ribbon (Lemon Lime Twist organdy Sale-a-Bration ribbon above, and Calypso Coral satin ribbon below) and a few Happiness Blooms enamel shapes.
The Lemon Lime Twist card above also features a greeting stamped on a die cut banner. The greeting is from Fable Friends
The Grapefruit Grove card below features a die cut tag from the Sweet Pins & Tags pack! All supplies available in my online store by clicking any of the product photos at the bottom of this post.
Above: I inked the flower on the left with Poppy Parade ink then used a sponge dauber to add some Early Espresso ink to the center before stamping. See the Video Here.

Beautiful cards and I love your idea to stamp and cut out extra pieces so you can play around with them on your card!
