Thanks for hanging with me yesterday and so sorry for the internet issues while I tried to share a live video with you. I really wanted to share these So Refreshing projects with you live, but, alas, I needed to record a video and post it to YouTube. (replay is included below or see it on my YouTube Channel).
As you can see, I had a great time playing with the “lemonade bundle” as I call it in my mind, making 5 different cards to share with you!
My first 3 cards feature the pitcher and glasses with lemonade, and the last 2 cards feature the flowers in the die cut pitcher. Those cute little ice cubes stamped in the pitcher and glasses just make me smile!!
By switching the colors from Lemon Lolly, to Bubble Bath, to Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist, you can really make any color beverage you wish with this cute So Refreshing set!! Above: make strawberry lemonade with Flirty Flamingo ink!
My card below uses a watercolor wash background that was left over from these Citrus Bundle projects. (Watercolor wash background video tutorial here)
I love to create lots of pieces to work with, then make cards with them.. below you can see all the fun pieces I created before making my cards.
As I mentioned in the video, I love it when a bundle isn’t just a “one trick pony”… in other words, you can make lots of different things with it. This bundle allows us to create the cute lemonade cards and also floral cards!!
As shown in the video, if you want to step up your shading, color with Watercolor Pencils after stamping!
