How about a cute spooky Halloween card today, with my favorite Stampin’ Up! Halloween color combo!?
The fun part about these cute haunted houses from the Tricks & Treats set, is that I stamped them 2x in each of the 3 colors, then start cutting them apart and kind of played “paper dolls” with the pieces until I had a set of 3 houses that had all 3 colors on them! 🙂
2 Tips:
- Did you see how I played “paper dolls” with the Haunted Houses? I stamped them each multiple times and cut extra roof pieces to add more color to each house!
- Use the “bag topper” zig zag die from this Tricks & Treats bundle to create cute grass – I used the In Color Textured paper in Parakeet Party for the grass.. I also added some Granny Apple Green ink with a Blending brush to the pieces behind the houses to give a little extra depth
The moon is a Crushed Curry circle die cut from the deckled circle dies (you could use a circle punch, but I had this one on my desk), and I ink blended some Pumpkin Pie ink around the perimeter of the circle, splashed it with Wink of Stella, and stamped the bats on it to match the background.
The “batty sky” background is from the Them Bones designer paper pack… you could also just stamp a background, too.
