Money saving tip for die cuts: cut them in half to make 2 cards from one die cut. Flowering Zinnia cards by Patty Bennett

As I  created these Zinnia cards, and added multiple layers of designer paper and die cut pieces, I discovered that I could cut the 2 die cut pieces in 1/2 and use them on 2 cards instead of one!  What a great money saving tip!

So on top of the Gorgeous Grape base card, but below the top Flowering Zinnia layer (3″ x 5-1/4″), I tucked a Postage die and an Everyday Details die (sorry, currently unavailable at time of this post, but available again early May 2024).  Cutting them in half allowed for very little waste but a fun impact of additional layers/textures with the die cut details!
