Coloring Black and White Ephemera with Blends

As I was prepping my class and display board for our Summer Stampin’ Soiree last weekend, I think this was one of my faves!!  While you can also do this same idea by stamping a floral image and coloring, I actually used the die cut image shown below (from the Fully Flowering Ephemera pack).  Most of the images are colored, but there are a few outline (black and white) images you can color.

I was just checking… this VERY popular floral ephemera pack is on low inventory as I’m typing this.. so don’t delay if you want a pack!!

I really love the Labeled with Love greetings, so I used one on my card.  (circled below)

After coloring the rose with my Stampin’ Blends markers, I layered it with 2 other Ephemera die cut pieces on top of the Pretty in Pink Perennial Postage die and then onto the embossed background (Layered Florals 3D embossing folder) in Pretty in Pink, onto a Summer Splash base card.  And of course, the final touch, In Color shimmer gems!!
