Well friends, we’ve come to the end of our Monochromatic Monday series!! This is the 4th card in our series that I’m sharing with you. I hope I’ve inspired you to try out monochromatic stamping. It’s easy, quick and uses fewer supplies than most of the cards I share, so great for beginners, or anyone who likes to keep it simple!
Our card today features Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green. All supplies are listed in the supply photo index at the bottom of this post. I’ve featured the Leaf Collection background stamp and the Tropical Leaf Punch.
Background Stamp Tip:
I purchased the Leaf Collection background stamp on the demonstrator preorder and then received a duplicate as a Prize Patrol at OnStage, so I decided to cut one up into individual leaves.
This solved 4 problems:
- what to do with the duplicate stamp
- able to stamp just one or 2 images if I wanted to
- able to stamp leaves in multiple colors easily
- for those who have difficulty holding the largest Clear Block F for background stamps, this allows you to handle smaller clear blocks

I’m not normally a fan of monochromatic cards; however, you card is LOVELY! You chose such pretty colors.
I cut my stamps apart, too.
Love the idea of cutting the stamp into individuals. Having 2 makes the decision all the easier. I tend to not want to destroy originals!
You might have just given the company a new idea for a stamp set, or just for marketing current ones. Do you get royalties! I’d insist 🙂
Royalties would be amazing! LOL .. but I only get commission when my customers order. 🙂
